The island itself is peaceful, and the natural surroundings are nice. The staff were genuinely kind and did their best despite the challenges. I just have issues with the operation and management transparency. The safari experience was a highlight, and breakfast was also decent.

There were scheduled power interruptions due to issues with the main power line with reliance on a backup generator but this was not communicated in advance. Even if the notice had been given one day prior, I should be informed and given the choice to stay reschedule or cancel. Instead I was surprised to find a letter in my room only after check in with no verbal explanation from the staff (photo attached). The switching between the main line and the generator affected both lighting (even on path walks outside) & air conditioning and during a storm there was also a complete power outage lasting 20 to 30 minutes.The hotel facilities are very old and appear unchanged since my previous visit eight years ago. While the bed was clean most elements especially the carpet felt dated and worn.There was also an attempt to overcharge me at checkout which I had to point out myself. No compensation was offered despite the multiple disruptions experienced during the stay.I made the best of my trip as I simply wanted to disconnect for a few days but I am sharing this honest feedback out of genuine disappointment. I had high hopes for the hotel from my previous visit, and these issues can significantly affect the visitor experience.

Location, Staffs, Breakfast, Beach, Pool, Nature, the Island. Manager Ratna was highly efficient and a true host.

Only one thing - Al Shams Restaurant. Price is not at all worth the very small portion not the taste.

Nothing I’ve been receiving most start, which was open before by your previous client.

Service was very bad and the hotel it’s falling apart. It’s very dirty very old completely disappointed.It’s saying Safari Drive and walk we didn’t walk. We didn’t stop for pictures. Very disappointing.

Location only, they have lost of activities but they open late late and close early. There is no restaurant except only two. One of them open only at night and close 10:30 night!

Management is not professional, staff are amateur. From early morning until 10:30 morning you have no activity even beach and pool are closed! And they close at 6pm!! I can call the place an open jail. Rubbish experience

the staff are very attentive specially the front desk. we faced a little hiccup during check-in but they managed it very good. Forgot to get his name though. the food is also good. price is reasonable all things considered. my children enjoyed the facilities

The hotel is quite oldWe arrived around 5pm but the rooms were still not ready!!!

No one informed that there are boats to reach the hotel. Timing complications, AC was not working properly in the room

Everything was perfect . Real escape to An amazing island . Food - activities safari - animals and the beach all are exceeding our expectations.Bravo to the best staff in town zin min . Exceeding our expectations exceptionally. Well done

We liked the room and the beach. We paid separately for Safari and it was amazing.

We did buffer dinner for 2 nights at The Palm restaurant and we felt like the options were few on the buffet, and specially for our child there were very few options. I would like to suggest if you can add more food items for the kids that would be great as the prices are high and nothing to offer to the kids from the menu.

The room was perfect as well as the view.

The setting in restaurant. To full and we waited a long time to be served. The egg station were very busy because there was only one person to help.Even the variety didn't match the price we paid. We feel that the price was to much for what we got.

The staff were extremely friendly, the island was quit a perfect place for a get away from the busy city life … rooms were very big and lovely …

For those who visited Anantara properties in Dubai this is a quite and little old property , Amenities are fairly good but the drive from Dubai is quite long.

Ambience is amazing but very laid back.
